global_colors_info=\u00a0\u00bb{}\u00a0\u00bb sticky_enabled=\u00a0\u00bb0&Prime;]<\/p>\n<p>Adoss\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019ancien rempart du Castrum et dress\u00e9 sur la mont\u00e9e du Ch\u00e2tel, l\u2019ancien h\u00f4tel de Montaulbain, propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de Simon du Ch\u00e2tel, fut achet\u00e9 en 1388 par les magistrats de la Cit\u00e9 pour en faire la Maison Municipale.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019h\u00f4tel abrita la cloche municipale qui servait aux alarmes\u00a0; dans le local de l\u2019horloge se fondaient les canons de la Cit\u00e9. Les caves de l\u2019h\u00f4tel servaient de prison municipale. En 1680, Louis XIV installe le 1er ma\u00eetre \u00e9chevin \u00ab\u00a0fran\u00e7ais\u00a0\u00bb dans l\u2019h\u00f4tel.<\/p>\n<p>En 1738, la Municipalit\u00e9 abandonne l\u2019h\u00f4tel de Montaulbain pour s\u2019installer \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4tel de Japin, h\u00f4tel de ville actuel. Verdun se trouve sur la route de la Meuse \u00e0 V\u00e9lo\/Eurov\u00e9lo 19. Nous \u00e9tions log\u00e9s dans une chambre pour deux personnes, tr\u00e8s belle et confortable, avec une salle de bains. Renforcez-vous avec le petit-d\u00e9jeuner riche et vari\u00e9, et de tr\u00e8s bons conseils pour les visites et la restauration le soir. Un tr\u00e8s bon rapport qualit\u00e9\/ prix.
